Wafelhuis Bakeries runs forty bakery cafés across Flanders and Brussels, all supplied from one central bakery. We are hiring an Area Operations Manager to join the Operations team.
You will look after a group of sites and the managers who run them. The job is part coach, part auditor and part problem solver, and it involves a lot of time on the road.
This is a hybrid role based in Brussels, with two or three days a week in the office. It is a full-time, permanent position. The pay range for this role is €51,000–€67,000 per year.

What you'll do
- Support site managers on staffing, budgets and customer experience.
- Standardise the handful of processes that should be the same everywhere.
- Run regular site visits and follow up on what they find.
- Own area-level budgets and forecasts.
- Lead recruitment and development for site managers.
- Share good practice between sites.
