Tidewater Games is an independent studio making cosy strategy games for PC and Switch. Forty people, one office by the river, and a live game with a very vocal community. We are hiring a Frontend Engineer to join the Engineering team.
You will work in the space between design and engineering, turning prototypes into interfaces that are fast, accessible and pleasant to maintain. Our users are not always on new hardware or fast connections, so performance budgets are taken seriously.
This is a hybrid role based in Lisbon, with two or three days a week in the office. It is a full-time, permanent position. The pay range for this role is €39,000–€51,000 per year.

What you'll do
- Build and maintain the web front end in Vue and TypeScript.
- Turn design prototypes into accessible, responsive components.
- Write component and end-to-end tests for critical flows.
- Work with designers in the open, from first sketch to release.
