Sterling Ridge Credit Union is a member-owned credit union serving teachers, nurses and public-sector workers in Minnesota. We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to join the Engineering team.
We are moving from a handful of hand-built servers to infrastructure defined in code. You will lead much of that work, and you will be trusted to make sensible decisions about what to automate first.
This is a hybrid role based in Minneapolis, with two or three days a week in the office. It is a six-month contract with a good chance of extension. The pay range for this role is $72–$94 per hour.

What you'll do
- Move hand-built infrastructure into Terraform and version control.
- Build and maintain deployment pipelines for every service.
- Run backups and prove they restore.
- Set up monitoring and on-call alerting that wakes people only when it should.
- Manage cloud costs and report on them monthly.
- Document runbooks for the operations everyone else depends on.
