Southerly Water plans, builds and maintains water and wastewater networks for councils in south-east Queensland. We are hiring an Infrastructure Planner to join the Infrastructure team.
You will build the long-term infrastructure plan: where we need capacity, when, and what it will cost. The work feeds directly into investment decisions and regulatory submissions.
This is a hybrid role based in Sydney, with two or three days a week in the office. It is a full-time, permanent position. The pay range for this role is A$123,000–A$156,000 per year.

What you'll do
- Develop the long-term infrastructure investment plan.
- Forecast demand and capacity across the network.
- Build business cases for major investments.
- Coordinate with regulators and public authorities.
- Assess resilience and climate risks to assets.
- Track delivery of planned investments.
Qualifications
Must have
- Bachelor's in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or a related field
