Larchmont Learning makes reading and maths practice apps used in primary schools across Canada. We are hiring a UX Researcher to join the Design team.
You will plan and run the research that tells us what to build and whether it worked. Good research here ends in a decision, so you will spend as much time with product teams as with participants.
This is a hybrid role based in Vancouver or Montreal, with two or three days a week in the office. It is a part-time position of around twenty-four hours a week, with days agreed together. The pay range for this role is CA$48–CA$65 per hour.

What you'll do
- Plan and run interviews, usability studies and surveys.
- Turn findings into clear recommendations teams can act on.
- Build and maintain a panel of research participants.
- Teach product teams to run lightweight research themselves.
- Maintain a searchable repository of research insights.
- Partner with analytics to combine qualitative and quantitative evidence.
Qualifications
Must have
- Bachelor's in Psychology, HCI, Anthropology or a related field
