Halcyon Fibre builds full-fibre broadband networks in towns across the north of England and Scotland. We are hiring a Telecom Network Engineer to join the Network team.
You will design network extensions into new areas and upgrade the capacity of existing ones. The work mixes desk-based design with site surveys and close coordination with build partners.
This is a hybrid role based in Manchester or Glasgow, with two or three days a week in the office. It is a full-time, permanent position. The pay range for this role is £49,000–£64,000 per year.

What you'll do
- Design network extensions and capacity upgrades.
- Survey sites and validate designs in the field.
- Coordinate with build partners and permitting authorities.
- Maintain network records and documentation.
- Troubleshoot complex network faults.
- Plan maintenance windows with minimal customer impact.
