Halcyon Fibre builds full-fibre broadband networks in towns across the north of England and Scotland. We are hiring a Fibre Network Designer to join the Network team.
You will design fibre routes to homes and businesses, street by street. Full training on our design tools is provided, so a sharp eye and an interest in how places are laid out matter more than experience.
This is a hybrid role based in Manchester or Glasgow, with two or three days a week in the office. It is a full-time, permanent position. Pay is discussed openly at the first interview.

What you'll do
- Design fibre routes from cabinet to premises.
- Use survey data and maps to choose efficient routes.
- Produce build packs for construction partners.
- Update designs based on field feedback.
- Keep design records accurate in the GIS.
- Hit weekly design throughput and quality targets.
