Gridwise Energy designs and connects community solar and battery storage sites for municipal utilities in Ontario. We are hiring an Infrastructure Planner to join the Infrastructure team.
You will build the long-term infrastructure plan: where we need capacity, when, and what it will cost. The work feeds directly into investment decisions and regulatory submissions.
This is a hybrid role based in Ottawa, with two or three days a week in the office. It is a full-time, permanent position. Pay is discussed openly at the first interview.

What you'll do
- Develop the long-term infrastructure investment plan.
- Forecast demand and capacity across the network.
- Build business cases for major investments.
- Coordinate with regulators and public authorities.
- Assess resilience and climate risks to assets.
- Track delivery of planned investments.
Qualifications
Must have
- Bachelor's in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or a related field
