Corvina Payments provides card acquiring and payment links for small merchants in Portugal and Spain. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Engineering team.
This is a senior individual-contributor role with real scope: you will shape how a part of the system is built, not just implement tickets. Expect to write design notes, make trade-offs explicit, and spend a meaningful share of your week helping other engineers get unstuck.
This is a hybrid role based in Madrid, with two or three days a week in the office. It is a full-time, permanent position. The pay range for this role is €64,000–€84,000 per year.

What you'll do
- Own features end to end, from the API through to the operator-facing UI.
- Raise the bar on testing, observability and operational readiness for your area.
- Work directly with the people who use what you build and fold their feedback into the plan.
- Retire legacy code paths once their replacements have proven themselves in production.
