Cascade Analytics runs the reporting layer for several European retail groups. Small team, large volumes, strong opinions about data modelling. We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data team.
You will be one of the most experienced data engineers on the team and help set its direction: what we build, what we buy, and how we keep a growing platform understandable.
This role is fully remote; you can work from anywhere within Netherlands. It is a full-time, permanent position. The pay range for this role is €91,000–€115,000 per year.

What you'll do
- Lead the design of the data platform and its core models.
- Introduce data contracts with the teams that produce source data.
- Build tooling for data quality checks and lineage.
- Mentor data engineers and analysts on engineering practice.
- Plan migrations without breaking downstream consumers.
- Own the platform's cost and performance budgets.
Qualifications
Must have
- Bachelor's in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or similar)
