Cascade Analytics runs the reporting layer for several European retail groups. Small team, large volumes, strong opinions about data modelling. We are hiring a Head of Data to join the Data team.
You will lead a team of engineers, analysts and scientists and report to the COO. The mandate is to make data a dependable part of how the company runs: trusted numbers, useful models and a platform the business can grow on.
This is a hybrid role based in Amsterdam, with two or three days a week in the office. It is a full-time, permanent position. The pay range for this role is €123,000–€153,000 per year.

What you'll do
- Lead and grow the data engineering, analytics and data science teams.
- Own the data strategy, platform roadmap and budget.
- Partner with the executive team on the metrics that run the business.
- Decide where to build, buy or partner.
- Hire and develop data leaders.
Qualifications
Must have
- Bachelor's in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or similar)
