Bramblewood Insurance writes home and auto policies for families across the Midwest, with claims handled by people who live nearby. We are hiring a Data Scientist to join the Data team.
You will work on forecasting, segmentation and decision models that feed straight into operations. We value simple models that are understood and used over sophisticated ones that are not.
This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, with two or three days a week in the office. It is a full-time, permanent position. The pay range for this role is $127,000–$163,000 per year.

What you'll do
- Build forecasting and classification models for operational decisions.
- Design and analyse experiments with product and commercial teams.
- Work with data engineers to put models into production.
- Monitor model performance and retrain when it drifts.
Qualifications
Must have
- Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
